What is the best website for accurate apartment reviews? I am looking for apartments in the North Dallas (TX) area and I feel like every apartment I look at has the most horrible reviews ever. I get that some people have higher expectations of apartments, and that sometimes managers post "anonymous" positive postings. Has anyone found a site with reviews that pretty well reflected the apartments you looked at or moved in to? Just feeling a little overwhelmed right now.

Should I even pay attention to apartment reviews? Im in the process of looking for an apartment. So far, every single place i've found has terrible reviews. No matter how nice it looks, or how many features it has. I just don't know how i'm ever gonna find anything with all these negative reviews. And not just like 1 or 2, i mean like 40 bad reviews. Are apartment reviews usually bad? Just rented an apartment and casually went to look online at reviews. For the whole place I could only find about 15 reviews and a majority of them were saying how bad the place was. I was wondering if this wasn't normal. I seems like common sense to me that most of the people who write reviews are the extreme end of the spectrum. ( Either their pissed because they don't follow the rules or because they are nitpicky.) Therefor the majority of ratings is low when really it's not that bad of a place. Do you think the bad reviews overshadow what the place is really like because people tend to exaggerate?
Can i use apartment reviews in court? I was looking online and i did a search about the apartment complex that is suing me andi ran across and abundent amount of reviews from several people who stayed and are still staying at the complex who had alot of horrible things to say. Some of them even had the same problem i did and was the reason i moved out. Parkside apartment reviews? I am looking into moving into the Parkside Apartments in Lebanon Oregon and was curious if anyone has lived there or does and any pros or cons on the place. I can only find reviews on the Parkside apts in Eugene, but are they owned by the same people??
Can anyone help me out with apartment reviews? I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, looking for an apartment complex near 19th and Northern. I'm not used to that area, and so, I'm having trouble figuring out which apartment complexes are considered safe, or what parts of that general area are considered bad. There are more than a dozen complexes within even just a mile of my target area, and so far (either it being from my lack of internet know-how, or a real, true absence of them) I cannot find any reviews online about the complexes, or management. I'm aware that a lot of people who own businesses like this tend to make fake accounts and write down positive reviews for themselves even if they're blatant lies, just to try and pull in new customers. I need help finding a website that will give me real reviews, be them good or bad. Phoenix in itself isn't the best city in the world as far as safety goes, and I know that, I'm just trying to be smart about where I'm potentially going to be moving to.

I’m so proud of my little guy. He never has accidents in my home and only potties in his PTPA. I have been trying to find reviews of good hotels that are dog-friendly. Potty Training Puppy Apartment Reviews? I am considering purchasing a PTPA also known as the Potty Training Puppy Apartment for my new Pomeranian. I work part time and go to school part time and am not able to let my puppy out as much as he needs to because he potties every 2 hours or so. I have heard very good things about this training apartment and was curious if any of you have actually used this with your dog? renter wants to sue me for slander for apartment review? i lease an apartment in MI and am very unhappy with the facility. i posted a review on an apartment review website. nothing i said in the review is false all information disclosed is true but negative for the complex. the owner called me and says he will sue me for slander(libel). he also said many rude and probably unlawful things on the phone with me. and about possibly evicting me for this can he sue or evict me from the complex?

What do you do when all the apartments in your area have bad reviews? All the off-campus apartments for the university I want to go to have BAD reviews (like one star out of 5). They all say things like how break-ins and robberies happen and how they heard of one person that was robbed at gun point. How can I tell if my Sims "like" an apartment? I always make it an option to have my sim review an apartment first before I buy it, but my issue is I can never tell if they genuinely like it or not. Nine times out a ten, when I eventually select an apartment, their environment bar lowers significantly meaning that they clearly DON'T like the environment. When an apartment complex says "central AC/heating" what does that mean? Are all rooms the same all the time? I am going to be moving into an apartment complex that has "central heating" and "central A/C". Does this mean that I can't control what temperature my room is, and that the managers change the temperature for all the rooms in the building? People who reviewed the apartment say that it gets too hot or too cold easily, so this makes me think that I don't have control over it. Is that what "Central heating" and "Centrals A/C" mean?
I am about to sign a lease with an apartment complex, but I just went online and read the reviews....? Well, I've been looking for apartments since a good friend passed away and left me his puppy (but my apartment complex does not accept pets). I looked and looked, and finally I found a place that looked really nice and even got a tour. My mom went with me and really liked it as well, but the reviews I've been reading about it (Creekside Apartment Homes, Simi Valley, CA.) are not too good at all... of course you would expect both bad and good reviews, but I've mostly been able to read bad ones, and they all include insects, mold, break-ins, police being called, etc... Now, from my perspective, the way I see it is that there are 395 apartments in the complex, and obviously if someone does not take care of their place, they end up with bugs and mold. Also, in every place as big as this one, you can't help but have either noisy neighbors, or other stuff bugging you- that's what you usually get when you rent an apartment. The people there have been extremely nice, and it looks and feels like a pretty nice community... should I be worried and lose the $100 hold and $60 in app fees, or just give it a try anyway? Either way, it's just a 1 year lease. And another question- should I live upstairs rather than on the lower level? I've heard that there are more break-ins in 1st floor apartments than 2nd floor ones.......

Is renting a corner apartment in a complex that much better than renting one in the middle? Looking at getting an apartment in a few complexes and I've seen reviews about some of them are negative because of "paper thin walls". A decent apartment in South Bend? Does anyone know of any decent apartments in South Bend, IN. I will be moving up there in June and would like to find an apartment (1 bedroom) for no more than 620 a month. I have been reading some reviews and have found mostly extremely negative reviews of apartments in South Bend (which, of course, is to be partially expected, you are certainly more likely to review if you had a negative experience). I would like to avoid a really rowdy college complex because I have dealt with that for the past four years. Thanks for any suggestions.
Is it possible to live roach-free in an apartment complex where others have roach problems? I'm a student looking for an apartment. I found a place that looks good except a cople of reviews cite roach problems. If I frequently "bomb" (with those Raid fumigators) and maybe hire a monthly pest service in addition to the one provided, will I still have roaches?

Apartment reviews in ontario? I live in Ontario, and i am apartment searching. I've come across two that I really like. both come out to the same amount except one is extra for under ground parking. The second one I saw, I liked the lay out better. But maintenance of the building is questionable. How to report, and to whom, an apartment realty company? The apartment realty company I go through is THE WORST. There are thousands of horrible reviews about them (Just look up John CR Kelly Realty) Im sick of their shit. To whom and how do I file an official complaint? I've gone through them and the police (when some crackhead neighbors broke into my car) and it didn't look like the better business bureau would be the right place. Do local governments have a department for this type thing? I know I can get about 12 other tenants to vouch for the conditions.
What is the best cat litter for a small apartment?? I have 2 kittens, and live in a fairly small apartment. I have been using Nature's Miracle for about 1 week. The reviews I read on this product were great, but I'm not sure that I agree. It sucks b/c I have the litter box in the bathroom. It is the only appropriate place I have to put it, but there is no window in there. So, when they go to the bathroom it does get smelly. What are the steps you take when reviewing and checking out an apartment application? Do you verify employments, then get a credit report, then call references? Some other order? I'm asking because my potential landlord called my employers to get verifications of my employments but he has not called any references yet. Is this a bad sign? Should I move in to the apartment? I am moving into a nice apartment, but I have a problem. The apartments are new and I will be the 3rd person staying in the apartment once the current resident move out. Well today I reviewed the apartment and noticed that the previous resident had white patches all over the walls in every room in an attempt to cover holes over beige paint. Since the apartments are very new and I have to pay the same amount for rent, shouldn't the landlord repaint all the walls before I move in?
do all apartments have bad reviews? it seems to me that every apartment complex i am looking at has bad reviews and if there is a couple good reviews you can tell management probably wrote it. is that just a normal thing? I do know when you dont like something you are going to complain vs. if you had a good experience you will just go on with your day.

I had a TERRIBLE experience that basically left my daughter and myself homeless because I paid a deposit for a house, signed paperwork to move in March 20th, and they called and said the house wouldn't be ready until MAY 7TH!!!! That they went on "good faith" that their current tenants would be ending their lease early!!! I told them, "you don't make an obligation to someone and have them pay and sign documents on GOOD FAITH!!" They DID give me my money back, but if not for my Mom, my 2 year old daughter and I would have been homeless for 2 months. They even refused to put me up in a place and pay for storage and one of my moving costs. I cannot believe they could do that to someone. I am going to file a formal complaint to the BBB, I was playing phone-tag with THEIR Property Mgmt, but after three more attempts to call and leave messages, I did not receive another phone call from management. I need to ensure this does not happen to another family. Had my daughter and I been moving from out-of-state and didn't know anyone.....we'd be HOMELESS!!! I have decided to STAY at my Mom's for the next couple of months to ensure we ALWAYS have a roof of our heads because I will no longer be renting....I plan to BUY!! I did EVERYTHING I was supposed to do. I gave 60 days written notice to let my current leasing office know I was moving (the KICKER....is this new place ASKED me to move in there early. I was going to pay a month's rent at 2 different places!!). I WOULD have paid month-to-month HERE, had they told me not to move in until May 7th, the date their current tenants lease was ACTUALLY up. Of course, my leasing office found new tenants, since I gave my notice....so I couldn't stay any longer than my actual lease. And the new place had the AUDACITY to say my old place is "unprofessional"!! THEY were just doing their job!! I warned them that they will be getting bad reviews all over the internet and that I'm contacting the BBB. Are there any other actions I can take? where is the best place to complain about an apartment complex? I live in the presidential towers in Chicago, part of waterton residentials.. i think it's a pretty big company since they have apartment complexes all across the US. I just want to complain about their horrible customer service and explain my experiencei had while living there. Trying to find an apartment in Orange County? I'm trying to find a decent apartment in Orange county/Irvine area and when I look at all the reviews, I always find at least 2 or 3 complaints having to do with rats. Is it that much of a hassle to find a place rat free in Orange county? Are these people just mad at the management or is this a real problem?

How do I determine if I have a case for a misleading contract against my apartment complex? When I moved into my apartment I was told by the leasing agent that I was paying a $299 deposit. Like most people I took her word that everything was legit and signed the agreement. After reviewing the agreement I found out that a $299 deposit is really a $49.00 deposit and $250.00 non refundable administrative fee. Which are the best apartment bulidings in Chicago? I am specifically interested in the Loop area. I was considering Century Towers, but when I found reviews on the internet, they were mostly bad. People complained of the poor management and the noise from pipes at odd times of the night. No wonder the studio there was so inexpensive!
