I need to know the title/artist of the song in this clip from the TV Series "Fame"? URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQSuo95Kq6k&feature=related Song comes up at 4:07 in the clip. Episode W.S.O.A. Air date: April 26 86 Director: Winslow Phelps Writers: Patricia Jones and Donald Reiker As a deejay for W.S.O.A., a radio station at the School of the Arts, Jesse handles many phone calls from listeners – most of which are somewhat trivial. One of his callers, Roberta, requests a song called "You Don't Know Me" daily to which he dismisses until she reveals that the request is being made to pacify her pending suicide. Ann Strong, a psychologist for the school board advises Jesse to continue talking to her to appease her depression by assuring her that her pain will pass. Jesse and Roberta arrange to meet, but under the condition that he arrive alone. After not showing up, the kids start a search for the girl in hopes to save her. When she finally calls she reveals that she's taken pills already, Jesse has one final chance to convince her to live. When Mr. Dyrenforth finds the kids' dressing too revealing, he calls on Dwight to enforce the new dress code. Guest starring Kathleen Wilhoite (as Roberta) and Jesse Welles (as Ann Strong). Co-starring David Greenlee (as Dwight). Featuring Sheri Allen (as The Girl) and Ric Cane (as The Waiter/Lt.).
Good Techno/Dance/Electronic Music? Recently i have been interested in Techno/Dance/Electronic music. I am unsure if theres a difference between any of them, or if there mostly similar, but can anyone name any good songs for this genre? I have like 3 or 4 songs so far that i like, and they are; Heaven by DJ Sammy Better off Alone by Alice Deejay Funky $hit by The Prodigy So if anyone has any other good Techno/Dance/Electronic songs, name them please, cuz i have the perfect home setup for soime small parties ;), couple big tower speakers, powerful stereo, some strobe lights, big screen TV. I wanna get this party started!
Have I been working too much-- since I don't know any of these supposed celebrities? I just saw a show on VH1 called "40 Hottest Hotties of the '90s." It featured some people I've never even heard of: Jenna Jameson, Ethan Hawke, Jenny McCarthy, Gabrielle Reece. The little blurbs they showed about them didn't do much to recommend them, but supposedly they were "hot" for some reason. Am I the only person who never heard of any of these people? I do watch TV fairly often, I once owned a popular music store and was a well-respected nightclub deejay, and I socialize with other people fairly often. It would be a stretch to say that I am "out of touch" with the entertainment industy. So why haven't I had a clue before now who any of these people are???? EDIT: Here's another one to add to my "mystery" list: Heather Graham.
What are some electronic songs that just about everyone has heard at one point or another, even if not a fan? It seems to me that a lot of people (or at least the ones I've talked to) will go "Hey, I've heard that somewhere...." when played, even if they have no idea what it's called or who it's by, because it was featured in an ad, movie, TV show, video game, sampled by another artist, etc. Have you? "Better Off Alone" - Alice Deejay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dBu5X3TvNw "Children" - Robert Miles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCbO-3hjPok "Sandstorm" - Darude http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSYxT9GM0fQ And maybe "Dragostea Din Tei" by O-Zone. xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk7Sxpmr7wI What else is there? Thanks for the answers guys! Jimmy Jazz, might it be this one? This is the one I've heard the most often anyway, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLr9W_VPXaY
