Can you help me come up with a name for a Disc Jockey Service? My fiancé is going to start DJing on the side. I'm making flyers for his business to get the word out and we're still trying to decide on a name. He came up with the name Lightning Sound & Motion Disc Jockey Services. And I've come up with two different slogans, which in my opinion are a little lame (he hasn't seen them yet). Can you come up with a name for our business (he'll be Djing and I'll be his assistant and taking over the board when need be)? Do you like his name? Can you think of any slogans to go with it? Thank you for your help!
If you need a job...I need you to work from home!? I am the founder of a Professional Mobile Disc Jockey service in Ohio. We provide online planning forms to our customers that allow them to login to their account and plan every detail of their event through our website. I am looking for someone to work from home and surf the net for important details coveriing different types of events, that could be included in the planner. Pay is a flat rate and is based on the event type you are researching. (example: weddings would be more since they consist of more details). This is perfect for someone who is receiving benefits. Your SSN is not needed and you will not lose benefits because of this position. Email me at thompsonentertainment@yahoo.com with subject line "Planning Form Researcher", otherwise your email will not be read. Thank you for your time. This is NOT a scam. We are not a company who traditionally seeks people to work from home. This oppurtunity was made available to benefit stay at home parents or retirees. Call our office at 1-888-487-8869 to confirm the details of this work at home offer.
I am starting to search for a disc jockey for an event What should I look for? What costs are reasonable? This is the first time I have hired a DJ for an event and I don't want to make a mistake! I live in Washington D.C. so I have lots of options and the prices range so much, I have no idea what to do? How do I know I'm dealing with a good DJ? How do I evaluate whether he or she is right for my event? And how much is too much to pay, no matter what the services they offer? (Insight on other stuff, such as whether add-ons like a "light show" are worth it or rip-offs, is appreciated.)
Resume question? I work for a company who does DJ's for parties, weddings and does promotions. On my resume I have the company name and just so that employers will get a better understanding of what the company does (because the company name has entertainment at the end of the name and I don't want employers to think that it is some adult entertainment business), so in brackets underneath the name I just put "Disc Jockey Service". But is there another name I can use instead of the above? I don't like Disc Jockey. What else is there that I can put so that employers will know that this entertainment company does dj services and events?

What do I need to file taxes for my family and business? I started a business in September 2010. I have an EIN, Articles of Incorporation, and records of all deposits made towards the business. That is all I have as I just recently purchased Quickbooks. I haven't had many transactions as it is a Disc Jockey Service, so there are not that many deposits. When setting up the business I had it setup so that all income would be reported as personal income. Is that enough information to provide to an Tax Accountant with H&R Block or even Amscot? If it is not, what should I do? Thanks is advance for you advice!
I'm trying to write a brief bio and business summary for my webpage. Can anyone help me out with wording? I would really appreciate some help with the wording of my website home page. I'll provide some bio facts and business summary info and hopefully someone could write a paragraph or two that sounds professional. Thank you!! I have total writers block and have been trying to do this for over a week! It's a DJ business. I've been a Disc Jockey since 1997. I do weddings, birthdays, business functions, parties... events of all kinds basically. I provide mobile DJ services for Sonoma and Napa Counties. I am professional, reliable and competitively priced. I am commited to providing the customer with quality services for their event.
Legal Document Question? I am a Mobile Disc Jockey and offer services throughout Ohio. Many of my clients such as brides are out of state planning their wedding to come home (to ohio where I am) because of their familiy, so they have to sign and fax back the contract for our services. Since it is a copy of their signature and not their original signature is this legal? (meaning if I ever went to court would this be a valid document?) or must I have the original? I know it's always nice to have the original but sometimes is not possible.

Can anyone figure out this math problem for me? Here's the problem: A disc jockey must allow time for 24 minutes of commercials every hour, along with four minutes for news, 3 minutes for weather, and 2 minutes for public-service announcements. If each record lasts an average of 3 minutes, how many records per hour can the DJ play? I know. It's pretty perplexing. Just to let you know, I'm learning about working backwards to solve problems. PLEASE HELP! THANKS!

Read this paragraph and determine the places in which pronoun point of view is not consistent.? Internet radio is becoming more and more popular for a number of reasons. First, it is commercial free. Typically, you have to subscribe to a service for a nominal fee per month and get an access login identification. Once you log in, you can listen to the stations without commercial interruption because you have paid for the service through your fee and there is no need to use commercial advertising to raise money. This is a huge advantage for people who are tired of hearing advertisements every twenty minutes and who want the consistency of the ad-free format. Second, Internet radio has no disc jockey managing the show. Usually, an Internet radio station features music, talk shows, or other types of entertainment with no person speaking to the listener between sets. This is a great boon for you if you don't like having a disc jockey cut off your favorite song before it ends in order to announce the name of the artist or make a useless comment about the piece. Third, Internet radio is clear. The listener does not have to deal with static hiss from the AM or FM signal. The sound from Internet radio is as clear as your sound card and speakers will allow it to be. You don't have to invest in a fancy antennae, for the sound comes through the broadband connection. This, of course, is the drawback of Internet radio. In addition to subscribing to the service, a customer also needs to subscribe to DSL or cable broadband service in order to make good use of the radio selection. Thus, the cost of Internet radio is actually higher than the subscription price might suggest. All in all, Internet radio is changing the way you listen to the radio
Travis Barker, DJ AM horribly disfigured? AUGUSTA, Ga. - Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and celebrity disc jockey DJ AM are expected not to recover from burns they suffered in a fiery South Carolina jet crash that killed the other four people aboard, one of their doctors said Sunday. Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, said the two suffered Fifth and Soxth-degree burns and had many orther complixations and other injuries from the crash that one witness described as a fireball shooting across a highway. "Anybody who can survive a plane crash is pretty lucky," Mullins told reporters during a news conference Sunday morning. Barker was burned over his entire face and lower body and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was burned on his entire body, according to a statement from the musicians' families released by the hospital. Mullins declined to discuss specific recovery times for the men, but said such injuries will never heal and either man could expire at anytime. Both men are still in very critical condition, he said. The Learjet crashed late Friday night shortly after taking off from an airport in Columbia, where the men had just performed a concert for thousands of college students. The plane's two-person crew and a pair of the musicians' staff members — also their close friends — were killed. As the plane was departing, air traffic controllers reported seeing sparks, officials said. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and came to rest a quarter-mile away on an embankment across a five-lane highway, engulfed in flames. One witness said he was driving when a fireball streaked across the highway about 600 feet ahead of him. William Owens said he approached to see the two survivors frantically trying to remove their burning clothes. "I noticed two guys who were on fire and it looked like a dance: They didn't know what to do," said Owens, a 60-year-old delivery van driver. Goldstein had stripped off his own shirt and was helping Barker strip naked, said Owens, who was able to identify the men Saturday night because of news reports that showed Barker's extensive tattoos. Owens said Goldstein told him four other people were on board the jet, but the flames were too intense to get close. "'Oh my God' was all they were saying," Owens said of Barker and Goldstein. "They stood there and it's like — didn't know what to do. None of us did." Several fans visited the hospital over the weekend. One carried a sign that read: "Get Well Travis." "I was just shocked when I first heard it and I knew that I had to do something," said Ryan Meadows, a 19-year-old college student from Augusta. Two other passengers — Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles — died, as did pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif., according to the county coroner. Baker was an assistant to Barker and Still was a security guard for the musician. "The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern. Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash," said the statement from the musicians' families. The plane was headed for Van Nuys, Calif. It is owned by Global Exec Aviation, a California-based charter company, and was certified to operate last year, said National Transportation Safety Board member Debbie Hersman. A longtime friend of the co-pilot said Bland flew anti-smuggling missions 20 years for the U.S. Customs Service and flew missions for the Santa Ana Police Department in California and U.S. Border Patrol. "He was such an experienced pilot, it had to be something beyond their control," said Tim Ferrill, a Huntington Beach, Calif., pilot. "He was an absolutely meticulous pilot, very thorough and not a risk-taker at all." Barker and Goldstein had performed together under the name TRVSDJ-AM at a free concert in Columbia on Friday night. The show, which included performances by former Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell and singer Gavin DeGraw, drew about 10,000 people to a neighborhood near the University of South Carolina. Barker, 32, was one of the more colorful members of the multiplatinum-selling punk rock band Blink-182, whose biggest album was 1999's CD "Enema of the State" and sold more than 5 million copies in the United States alone. After Blink-182 disbanded in 2005, Barker went on to form the rock band (+44) — pronounced "plus forty-four." He also starred in the MTV reality series "Meet the Barkers" with his then-wife, former Miss USA Shanna Moakler. The show documented the former couple's lavish wedding and home life. Their later split, reconciliation and subsequent breakup made them tabloid favorites. Goldstein, 35, is a popular DJ for hire who at one time was engaged to Nicole Richie and dated singer/actress Mandy Moore. While he became a gossip favorite for his romances, he draws resp
