If you need a job...I need you to work from home!? I am the founder of a Professional Mobile Disc Jockey service in Ohio. We provide online planning forms to our customers that allow them to login to their account and plan every detail of their event through our website. I am looking for someone to work from home and surf the net for important details coveriing different types of events, that could be included in the planner. Pay is a flat rate and is based on the event type you are researching. (example: weddings would be more since they consist of more details). This is perfect for someone who is receiving benefits. Your SSN is not needed and you will not lose benefits because of this position. Email me at thompsonentertainment@yahoo.com with subject line "Planning Form Researcher", otherwise your email will not be read. Thank you for your time. This is NOT a scam. We are not a company who traditionally seeks people to work from home. This oppurtunity was made available to benefit stay at home parents or retirees. Call our office at 1-888-487-8869 to confirm the details of this work at home offer.
Divorcee Job Hunt Need Help? Hi there, I am a talented divorcee and I need a job. I can't afford to work for minimum wage and mathematical shortcomings are all that is keeping me from my degree (I have flunked remedial math 4 times and can't take my science courses to obtain my degree without a passing math grade) I have 167 college credits with a 3.45 gpa if you subtract the math courses from my overall GPA. I have owned my own jewelry store, been an assistant manager of a pawn shop, been a private investigator, and am the only NAIS certified adoption search specialist in the entire country. I have worked as a Karaoke DJ in bars and private parties but my karaoke gear is not working presently and I can't afford the repairs being unemployed. I have also written computer game reviews for Amiga world and Computer Gaming World magazines. I served as the president of the Abington Downs homeowners association in Madison, Alabama and was on the Architechural control Comittee. I have no resume because most of my experience is self employment. I really need to find a high paying job or entry level at about $35-40K in order to make my bills. Below is an example of what i have come up with for a resume, I think it stinks, I need help. Please offer suggestions. I can't move I live in San Diego. Leah XX Caminito St. San Diego, Ca. 92XXX 858-XXX-XXXX home 858-XXX-XXXX cell Objective: To land an entry level job at Yahoo! Near or from my home in San Diego, Ca. Summary: This is not your standard resume, and I am not your standard future employee. I would make an excellent choice in a position at Yahoo! because after years of real life experience I know it is all about the bottom line and results, and experience has taught me how to achieve this goal. My college GPA stands at about 3.45 however in addition to having a good education, at the age of 43 I have a lot of real life experience that other younger entry level candidates can’t match. Education is important, but many things can’t be taught in a book. Furthermore, as my former mother-in-law once said of me I am, “Honest to a fault”. Honesty and dependability are very important to me. I know a company like Yahoo! values these traits too. I have had a thriving web based business in the late ‘90’s focusing on the Tiger Electronics interactive toy “Furby” which promoted this toy and generated thousands of dollars in revenue on click through commissions alone. I am high energy and enjoy the spotlight. I have worked as a professional disc jockey and karaoke entertainer for 12 years, I was also a licensed private investigator and taught beading classes and jewelry craft in my own boutique in Madison, Alabama. I have been to fourteen countries both for business and pleasure. I have also been a relief worker in the Honduras. All this while raising a family of four children. These things make me a great choice for any entry level position. Most of my experience stems from self employment or volunteer work. Again, unlike your average candidate, I can’t list dates employed here or there, because being a Mom and a wife came first when I was married. I have not punched a clock since I left the US Navy in 1987. I have been working on my BA sporadically, as money permits, and also working on repairing my credit post divorce induced bankruptcy. Please do not judge me on my credit report; it is not a fair representation of my credit-worthiness. Much of the red is still pending litigation with my former spouse and as much as I wish I could pay all the joint debt we held, I can’t. I would like the opportunity to sit down and discuss a position at Yahoo! in an interview. I am sure that once Yahoo! sees that I am a fast learner, outgoing and LOVE people, Yahoo! will know I am the right choice for a position. I am hoping to earn at least 35 – 40K in my first year, but do not want to place a 40K limit upon myself… I require at least 20K and would need health benefits and retirement. I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Leah XX 858-XXX-XXXX

Could this be considered defamation of character? Someone posted a "youtube" video of their face book page of a DJ slapping a woman's ta-ta's (at a wedding reception) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZP4Ugev82I. These are comments made under the video (on Facebook) ~person 1: I'm running on an hour and a half of sleep and this still made my day lmfao. ~person 2: OMG!!!! Looks like this one woman I know....she takes "professional" pics....Lmfao, really does look like her!! ~person 1: OMG was that shit funny as hell or what. I told (wife/name) to watch it. Thats the last thing i would have ever thought was gonna happen lmmfao bahahaha!! ~person 2: I know! That's freakin hilarious!! ~person 1: Def a must watch..I've watched it a thousand times it never gets old lmao. ***************************************************************************************************************** Here's my concern. I am the person in the conversation they refer to that takes "professional" pics. I do resemble the woman on the stage. But I would NEVER allow someone to degrade me in such a way as the DJ did. I am fearful that the 330+ friends of the two having the conversation will read these comments and see this video thinking it is me. I know that my name is not mentioned but these two people post every minute of their day on fb for the world to see. Neither have blocked walls by the way. And to top it off, ~person 1 is Active duty military along with being a well know Disc Jockey in the local area with a very big fan base. I am afraid that the comments made will give people a negative portrayal of me. The video itself is very distasteful. Can this be considered defamation of character? What are the laws about this kind of thing? Should I report this to facebook or contact the leadership of the military member? Any advice?

What to Name My Research Business...? It's time to start my own business. I've decided to quit my full-time job & go freelance, starting my own independent research business. My target market would be businesses who want research about marketing, the economy, their competitors, the state of their particular industries, etc. I have a B.A. in Communications, and I'm a thesis approval away from an M.A. in Communications. I have 15 years of experience in every form of media: print, market research, presentation/graphic design, radio/disc jockey, internet material & television. I have connections in every branch of media, and I have terrific skills in making relationships with clients. I won awards for my work. My finances are getting together. I honed my research skills with education & professional experience (sales research, and databases i.e. Lexis/Nexis). I know there's a great potential client base in my city. I'm working on a business plan, and I need some suggestions for naming the business & website. Any ideas?
Start my own Independent Research Business...? It's time to start my own business. I have a full-time job at a TV station in marketing, as a sales/research coordinator, where I've worked for 4 years. There's a high turnover rate in our department (due to the dept. head, a combo of the boss from the movie "Office Space" and the pointy-haired boss in the Dilbert comics). I have a B.A. in Communications, and I'm close to an M.A. in Communications, with English/Literature Minor. I have 15 years of experience in every form of media: print, market research, presentation/graphic design, radio/disc jockey, internet material & television. I have connections in every branch of media, and I have terrific skills in making relationships with clients. I won awards for my work. My finances are getting together. I honed my research skills with education & professional experience (sales, Lexis/Nexis). I want to start my own research business. My customers would be businesses learning about the market, the competition, etc. Where do I start?
I need help in deciding what i want to do in life ? Hello, I'm not trying to force a answer but i need something to go off. Let me start by deciding me, first I'm a right and left thinker; I enjoy math , business , organization , management , accounting English grammar and learning other foreign languages. Those things often have a conflict with these things i enjoy Music lyrics , art , fashion and all other liberal arts.I seen myself often not being able to pursue one thing without getting Bord with it and moving on to the opposite side . It's Like i want to be a professional CPA and then the next week i want to be a Disk Jockey. I know i could great at both and i would love both but i always lose interest. (please don't respond with people change their minds avg 50 times before that decide what they what to do .I just want any advise to help me in deciding what should i do . I truly know things that i like but i don't really have anyone thing that i love and i don't have time to wait (I need to know what I'm doing , so i can prepare myself in becoming the best )
What college degree involves DJ mixing? I have been to numerous electronic music festivals and have always really enjoyed this art of music. Mixing every kind of music into a unified sound is just so amazing. I would love to learn everything about the aspects of producing music with DJ mixing and such. My friend just received a mixer and we love messing with it, but I really want to major in something that will further help me with this career, disk jockey mixer. I don't know really anything about getting started with it all. I've researced some top mixers, software, etc. any ideas what I should pursue in college? and where I can get started? Maybe professional opinions and starters?
