how do you file a complaint against american classifieds in tallahassee, florida the peeps who run it????? hi all. i have a question. i was trying to put an ad in the american classifieds ads. i get an email saying taht i have to list as an business account. all i was trying to do is sell my chihuahua puppies. well i called them up to find out when they started this policy because back in octoberr last year i had an ad for the same thing and i did not list it as a business ad. see with a business you have to pay for the ad. instead of using the free ads. i have been waiting since the pups wre weeks old to put them in the paper and online. they did yesterday list the ad in the online section. the perspn i spoke to on the phone told me that they have had this policy for a long time. i told her not since october because i had the ad in the there for the same thing and the proof to show it. well i finally spoke to the owner and he hung up on me. i dont know for sure if its the owner or not but he says he was. and acted like he didnt care what i was saying. all he said was jen have a nice day

I saw this ad in the newspaper classifieds. It was placed by an African-American woman. What does it mean? Does the ad refer to something Biblical? If so what? I know the woman and she said that she did put the ad up but refused to explain it.

A hybrid breed makes it into the classifieds as a purebreed but the american bulldog is excluded ??? This one completly amazes me, I have to laugh. Epupz which is the biggest doggy classifieds in the uk currently lists the labradoodle as a dog breed. Nowhere will you find the american bulldog though. Like almost all uk classifieds they will not list or even i.p ban people advertising american bulldogs. Classifieds in the uk will not list american bulldogs even though they are a legal breed!? Do you not think classifieds are carrying out what is almost a illegal practise but not allowing people to list american bulldogs, They do this because they think people use american bulldogs as code for pitbulls even though the american bulldog is not a banned breed, This is hardly fair on american bulldog owners. Alot of classifieds websites will not allow the advertising of american bulldogs because they seem to think people will use it as a code to sell pitbulls and this is the case even in you include a picture of the american bulldog to prove its not. Looking for a 'classifieds' script. Know of one made by an American with the usual features and good support? Some programs look nice, but are hard to edit. Some are easy to edit but the tech support speaks broken English and won't get back to you in a reasonable amount of time. Some are free, and will not warranty it. American Eskimo Adoption? I have a 4 year old American Eskimo dog and unfortunately I have to give her up. I have checked with all the no-kill shelters and american eskimo rescues and they are all full and have been full for the past year ( I live in Las Vegas). Coastal Publications/Stuffing and mailing envelopes "Scam"? I was curious so I called the toll free number listed in the American Classifieds paper we have in Lou, Ky. Got a recording, I left name and address as it requested. I received in the mail the one sheet, front and back , sale pitch they use to lure folks in, which also includes the "Registration" form that instructs the sending of the "Registration Fee" that is $45.00. They take another opp. to gain another $5.00 for "Rush Delivery" and another $25.00 for "Next Day Express". $75.00 they can get in one shot. so I keyed them up on my search engine. WOW, they get around. http://www.ripoffreport.com/default.asp I read a lot of the forums that were connected to the so called business name and wanted to post one of the sites URL's as posted above. I read the yahoo forums first and wanted to come back and share that. They seem to be all over the US. Jersey City, NJ is the return address and my envelope and the address on the return envelope. I will not be sending any $$.

I saw an ad in the American Classifieds for English Bulldogs for sale. I contacted the lady via e-mail, it was the only contact option given and she got back to me a few hours later. She gave me info on the pups, prices and the parents. She also asked for my name, address, phone number and nearest airport so she "can have all of the pups papers prepared for a new home". She says that her shipper can deliver the pup to me or I can pick it up at the airport. The thing that got me thinking was that she is asking that when it comes time for payment to be paid via Western Union. Is this a bad idea? What if I wire the money and nobody ever comes to drop off the pup or meets me. Instead I asked if we could physically meet up and I could pay her in cash or money order. Am I worrying too much? It just seems odd that she isn't asking to be paid via paypal/etc. Have I come off rude asking her to instead meet with me to do the exchange? Also - she lives 3-4 hours away. Oh, and - she asked if my husband and I were experienced with puppies and how large our home was as she wanted her pup to go to a good home. So this makes me believe that she is not trying to scam me. ??? Thank you all for your help! I had a bad feeling about this. Classifieds: Ethnic preferences (!!!??)? How come in some (many! Just like Craiglist) website , people post housing classifieds with this kind of preferences: "Indian only" , or "Korean only". I can understand all the "female only" , "male only". All the "queer" or "gay only" and the etnic preferences just seems TOO MUCH! Here they are, putting every human being in different categories, just like a lot of americans do! I don't even think it's legal to put this kind of preference do you? I posted an ad on my local classifieds that I had 11 american pitbull terriers for sell and this guy has responded that he wanted to buy one and send me a walmart money order. When he sent me the next e-mail, I immediately realized something was not legit, so I let a friend of mine read it and they said one of her cousins got an e-mail just like that and responded to it and they sent her a money for more than the item was priced and cashed it and was told to send the rest pay for the delivery charges (which is exactly what my e-mail says to do) and several days later the bank contacted her and held her responsible for paying the amount of the money order because it was a fake. She ended up losing close to $3000. I figure this is exactly what this person is trying to do. He has contacted me again today and wants me to give him all the details and how to make the money order out and for how much. If someone would let me know how to catch this person in the act, I would love to.

Hello, I am stationed in Germany (more specifically Ansbach), and I want to adopt a kitten or puppy.? I know that there are a lot of animal shelters, but I do not know the fees, or whether or not they will allow Americans to adopt animals. If not, I would love to buy a Scottish Terrier or a Pug (Mops), but I have no idea where to look for local breeders. Do people really fall for these scams in dogs? I was reading the classifieds and came across a so called "breeder" that has american bulldog pups for sale. The ad said the dogs were, CKC, AKC and NKC registered. Does anyone see the problem with this? Since when did AKC start recognizing american bulldogs? They are trying to sell these pups for $800 and I really hope no one falls for this scam. And no, the ad did not say english it said american and it showed AB's in the picture. It's sad that people go that low to scam someone. Anybody know how to handle our internet stalker from Damaguete? Apparently, my husband had an altercation with an American from Damaguete. He is the one I asked about recently and is stalking both of us on the internet for some reason and posting lies about both of us in another Yahoo forum, something about a car I think. Anyway, it is getting frustrating and somehow he found me here and is really bothering us, even going as far as to interfere with my business which we advertise in Cebu Classifieds. He is spreading that I am putting girls up to cheating foreigners, all I do is give them internet lessons so they can go online. How is that cheating anybody? Why is it that everytime? Ok, recently, I noticed that people are putting Belgian Malinois in the classifieds ads for a cheap price. I thought this breed was going to be one of the breeds that could still be used for the K9-Unit and have that working drive and not be ruined like the majority GSD's of today with no drive and a show dog. But the problem is, it seems like everytime there is a perfectly stable dog, people have to ruin it. In the ad, they claimed the dogs were "family pets with no hardworking drive", as I thought to my self, I thought, why would anyone want to breed the working drive and working abilities out of a Belgian Malinois ?(sorry if I didn't spell it right). It's like breeding Labs that can't swim and APBT's that are bow-legged with no game or drive. What's the point of that ? I really don't understand, what is the point of having alot of breeds, if all people are going to do is either breed them down to genetic mutated freaks or turn them into completely something that is highly againist all standards of the breed ? Someone a couple of years ago told me that Presa's could be family pets. But I argued that most aren't suitable as family pets, but rather hardworkers with a kick ass drive,atleast the original Presa(not American bred) but yet, people are breeding them for a less hardcore temperment and less of a working drive.

The Unemployed Hero Kevin Garner, a tall skinny, 18-year-old boy with a slight posture defect, wanted to impress his family by getting a great job. Most of his life, he thought he was a failure, and a let down. This all started by getting bad grades in school, not getting involved in sports, and refusing to put his responsibilities before himself. Safest place to live in Luzon Region? Im aware theyre other regions that are much safer to live, but I would like to relocate and find a house some place in the luzon region. Could anyone list maybe the top 3 places to live starting with the safest? What I am looking for: (Kind of picky but I know I wont find all of it, but would there be place where I have a good chance of finding?) 1. 3+ bedrooms (2-story) 2. modern/american style bedrooms 3. I would like carpeted, but havent seen many of these online, but I guess I could put in my own carpeting. (so this one doesnt really matter) 4.Within $1000 usd range per month. 5. why do people do stupid things such as......? why would anyone drive a car while their dog or child is sitting on their lap?... why would someone practically cause vehicular manslaughter just to get in the Mc Donalds drive thru? ... why do some caucasian store cashiers greet afro-americans with '' yo whatz up, or whatz happin' bro" but they don't do it with anyone else?.. why do people post phony ads in the classifieds ie: cars or motorcycles 75% below book value, or vehicles that doesn't even exsists....why do some landlords say FOR RENT/ NO CHILDREN. are you serious..no children isn't that against the law or something? its not like your bringing a "dog or a feret" unto their property.....yeah whatz up with that.

Will it ever get better? where do I go from here? I only have 2 friends or so which I see seldom, I have no social life and play no sports or have no hobbies. All i do during the day is smoke cigs, eat lots of food then throw up. I recently was diagnosed with severe PTSD and Anxiety from my Military and I do take meds. My wife hates me because I was laid off from my job, we lost our house recently and had to move out. I have applied damn near everywhere for work and although I see 'help wanted" signs everywhere and see the help wanted section in the classifieds full.. nobody seems to be hiring. When will this damn country get better? Is it wrong to want to see illegals deported? Hi, my dodge neon that got me through college, grad school and several years of my first job is dying and has been running me very large $1000-$3000+ repair bills over the past two years. I've finally concluded what has been obvious to everyone else, I am not saving any money driving this neon any more. I am looking for a reliable used car that won't cost me a fortune in repairs, but as I am cruising the classified ads for cars I see really nice cars I always dreamed about in college like Saab 9-3, Jaguar x-type and audi A4s just five or six years used with 70-80k miles on them selling for what i'd pay for a used civic or even a used dodge intrepid/pt cruiser. I haven't had alot of luxury in life and have always just bought the cheapest things I could because that's all I could afford (if even that) but now that i'm working a little while, I would love to own a car like one of these. My family (who is very pro-american and pro-japanese car) says any of the european cars will cost a fortune to repair and i should stay away from them...is this really true? They claim the parts will be really expensive, but from my experience with the neon, the bulk of my repair bills is labor not parts, so i'm not sure i'd care if i were paying $50 more for a part that actually lasts compared to stuff that needs to be replaced just a little while later. I'd love to hear from people who have actually owned used, somewhat high mileage saab, jaguar or audi before and what their experiences have been. Unfortunately, due in part to this economy i'm just scraping by and any new or certified pre-owned car with a warranty is waaaay out of my budget so if I do buy it will be from the former owner directly through the classifieds...does anyone have any advice on that either?
