Hi friends. Kindly guide me. Employment Related? I am working as an Asst. Manager in a leading Newspaper Group in india. The employment is a two years contract b/w me and the company. Either of them has to give a 3mths notice in terms of leaving the job. But due to some internal politics my manager is pressurising me to resign or transfer to another city giving reason of underperformance which is incorrect. They are pressurising me to resign with mutual understanding so that neither the company or me has to give any notice or payment in lieu of. I cant take the transfer due to my mother's ill health. Please guide me about how to pay tax for my income from foreign employment? Hi Please some senior advisors help me with this. I was an employee of a UK company (for less than 2 years) until 28/feb/2010 and paid my taxes and NI contributions normally through PAYE until then. From 1/march/2010 until 31/July/2010 I was an employee of a foreign company (in a European country) but I was working for them in the UK (I was their only employee in the UK). For this period my salary was paid to me in gross (in Euros) without tax/NI deductions. From August 2010, again I became an employee of a UK company with my tax and NI being deduced normally through PAYE system. Now I want to sort out my tax payments for those 5 months foreign income. My march salary falls in 2009-2010 tax year & I understand that: 1. I have until 31/Jan/2011 to fill in tax return for it. 2. I need to first register for self assessment. 3. then after receiving the 10 digit taxpayer reference I can apply for tax return and it can also be done online (I hope). Now my questions are: 1. It is mentioned in Form SA150, page TRG4, that "foreign employment income goes on the Employment page". To me it is confusing; do I need to choose Option 1 for "Employment", in page TR2, of form SA100; or I should chose Option 5 for "Foreign"? 2. Apparently Form SA102 is supplementary form for "Employment" and Form SA106 is supplementary form for "Foreign"; when looking at these forms I get the impression that I should fill in the "Foreign" form. Actually the "Employment" form is very confusing, my foreign employer was not register in the UK, I was not given any P45, P60 or even UK style payslip. If I have to fill in SA102, I do not know if I also need to fill in the data related to my previous UK income up until the end of Feb/2010 (in which the tax and NI was deduced from it by my previous UK employer) because it is in that year (2009-2010)? 3. If I have to use "Employment" what about NI contribution from my Foreign employer? Employment Agency Scam? I was going through the employment guide last week and there was this ad listing for immediate hire customer service help. I called the number and spoke with a woman who told me to come in the following monday and to bring my resume. Her fee was $100, but she guaranteed employment and that if I wasn't satisfied in 90 days I could get my money back. I went monday and paid the fee and signed the contract that said she guarantees her services 100%, but cannot guarantee employment as that is up to the potential employer. After registering with her service, I am supposed to call in every morning that I am looking for a job and they are supposed to give me "leads" for the day. I called tuesday and the adviser that I am assigned to was supposed to email me something in my area, never got the email. I called wednesday, no return call or email, same thing thursday and thursday I explained this to the receptionist and asked for immediate attention. Of course she said my adviser was on the phone. Friday I was unable to get through because of the line being busy for several hours, but I did manage to get my own interview with a company who has hired me. My question is, since this employee referral service hasn't produced any results, can I ask for my money back?

How do I report a partnership loss that I don't need to use? I had a loss of 3000 from a partnership. I only had 5000 in employment income, so obviously I don't need to use all of my partnership loss. So, when I enter the loss on lines 162/135, do I enter the the amount of the loss or 0? As social workers, it is our responsibility to ensure that individual needs are met so people can be more self-sufficient and able to make the best possible choices for themselves. Just as individuals have basic biological needs they have to satisfy in order to function, relationships are also vital to satisfy their emotional, physical, security, social and educational needs. Relationships lay the foundations of support in the lives of every individual in every nation in the world. The family is the primary source of support for individuals when dealing with problems in their lives. Some families have external and financial resources to help them with their problems, while many others do not. Often problems arise within a family or a relationship from a lack of communication. Relationships affect and influence everyone around us. Relationships help us learn from each other, therefore we can build a mutually beneficial relationship with those around us who are less fortunate than we are and aid them in seeking a more equal society. A strong relationship means strong support, and strong support means that individuals will be aided and looked after when in need. Strong support is good for the well-being of individuals everywhere, even to us as social workers. We need to strengthen relationships to help each other get along with family that provides for individuals well-being. Social workers advocate for change and equality for all individuals, including those who are vulnerable and oppressed. I believe that every human being is important, and therefore should be respected for his or her unique qualities and characteristics. We can readily understand that others hope to be treated fairly and equally under the law and in their daily lives. It is logical that we would hope that others recognize that we want the same things for ourselves. As social workers, we have a number of ethical responsibilities toward our clients. First of all, we need to have the training and tools to support them in their personal growth. Second of all, we need to be able to describe viable choices for them, given their current skill level, or help them to attain improved skill levels. Lastly, we need to guide them to the recognition that the greater the knowledge, the broader the spectrum of choices. Most of all, we also need to lead them to the understanding that freedom of choice ultimately translates to living life to the fullest. If we all work together for the common good of the vulnerable and oppressed individuals, then we can create a more fair and equitable society. The fruits of our labor will then be freedom, justice, and peace for all. Another personal value that places the highest ethical standard to social work profession is integrity. This is the standard of right and wrong of what each of us ought to do usually in terms of rights and obligations, benefits, common good, least harm, and social justice for all individuals. All of which is central to what social workers practice to accomplish for the rights of the disadvantaged, vulnerable, and oppressed in society. Social workers must adhere to the ethical principles of integrity on maintaining a high code of behavior, honesty, trust, being respected, and having a sense of justice and fairness. Being honest and having integrity can be guide for everything that one does. What to do when no one is watching, knowing the difference between doing the right thing and wrong thing, and keeping your word are all examples of integrity. These are attributes that social workers should practice as professionals and in their everyday lives. Having integrity is respected both in personal and professional relationships .One needs to display a certain amount of sincerity and morals when working with clients. A social worker, specifically, must uphold the highest level of morality. They need to maintain that level when other people try to challenge their views and test their wills. When social workers are challenged with ethical situations, they have to maintain a sense of integrity to their profession, ethics, and principles. We need to understand that clients have different values and beliefs from our own and as social workers we have to be open to learning about
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Adminstration and I still haven't found a job.? i have been looking since April of this year and still nothing has come up. I've posted my resumes on Monster, CareerBuilder, Craigslist, YahooHotJobs, NetTemps, Employment Guide, etc. and still nothing. I even had my Career Advisior look over my resume, interviewing styles and etc. no problems at all. Please help me! i have 3 kids, a house, a husband and i don't limit myself to just one field. i have been to career fairs that my school has sponsered and in other places. My Bachelors Degree is in Business Administration with a Concentration in Healthcare Management. I also have an Associate in Applied Science with a Concentration in Medical Assistant. i need a new job. i live in ohio! the economy sucks and i need money!? i have looked in the employment guides, job news, plain dealer, online, monster jobs, temp agencies, and any and everything else i could think of. i have no college education yet but i have a high school diploma. i have experience in factories, clerical, cleaning, customer services, and sales (which i HATED!) i love animals and would like to work with them. i have a resume but i just have no luck in getting a job. any suggestions? anyone please advise anything reasonable.

work at home? I found this ad for a work at home position in my local paper, the Employment Guide. It gives you a website to go to at www.wealthycareer.com Now, I don't need anything like get rich quick or anything like that. But something like an additional $300 a week would really help out. It seems legit but it costs $45 to order their program that you put onto your computer and I was just wondering if anyone else out there has tried this and if it really works. Thanks for your help!

Does an AuPair applicant to UK need to send to a travel agency fee for her work permit? I was offered an AuPair job in UK. Contract and employment letter were sent to my email and they instructed me to contact Success Travels Agency who then asked me to send GBP300 for the supposedly work permit... is this legitimate? Envelope stuffing? I see these ads in this employment guide newspaper that says you can work at home stuffing envelopes. They say they send you all the materials including covering the postage and shipping costs. You secure, stuff, and mail envelopes and they pay you. Company has been in buisiness for 10 years in the same location. Gives refund within first 30 days of registration costs (covers cost of original materials). Has anyone else ever done this? Is it legit? Is there a way I can look up the company on the Better Buisiness Bureau? I've actually done something like this before, assembling magnets at home and mailing them back. It WAS legit, and they DID mail me materials and I did receive pay for my work. I've never done the envelope thing though. Any suggestions?
