Is it safe to use paypal for criags list? i am buy eagles tickets for 250 dollars but the seller lives a little to far to drive. He mentioned sending check or money order and paypal. is paypal the safest of the three?

If I use a resource like criags list or rent.com to find an appt. in queens NY - do I have to pay a broker fee If so, why? This is not the case in NJ. isnt it the responsability of the owner of the property to pay the broker, and not the person who will rent?

Why was my Criags List Ad Flaged? So I have been using Criags List for a while now - but recently I have been encountering problems with my posts being flagged by the staff or they just don't show up even when in the confirmation process they appear to be posted. Criags List Job & Credit Card Scam... Will I be the victim of fraud? I applied for a job through Craigs List and Friday morning I got a reply email from the HR manger of GNC Health asking me to submit a credit report to them. I did a google search online and nothing suspicious popped up so I sent this person my credit report and now Im a little nervous as I believe I may be the victim of a scam. I am very desperate to have a job right now and thinking back I was very foolish... anyhow this morning I put a freeze on my credit report but is there anything I can do to protect myself. Please no sarcastic comments I know what I did was foolish now Im asking for help. I couldn't possibly be the only person in the world to fall for this so can someone please give me advice? Potential adoptees for my cat are aplenty, but really what do people do this? I have had a foster car under my care for 10 months. I have not been able to find the right home for him and continue looking. I have tried facebook, and the and the internet on Criags list. Buying Home Depot store credit...? There is a guy on criags list selling his home depot "store credit." 1. Is this a gift card or do they have a seprate card for "store credit" (like he returned something without the reciept so they gave him store credit). 2. I was reading that they give you store credit if you pay for an item with a check and then return it before 15 days is up. So my concern is that this guy bought something with a bum check and then the next day returned it for store credit and when his check does not clear they will cancel the store credit? We thought of having home depot just transfer the amount onto our own store credit or gift card, but that could mean still problem if he used bum check and he could call and cancel the gift card that was bought with "his" store credit. So you can see my concern, but my husband says it will be fine and we will go in to cerify the credit left on the card (the guy told me it was a gift card and my husband it was a card for store credit)...is there a difference. I'm sure you see my concerns, what should we do? The card is for 649 and he said he'd sell it to us for 500 becuase he's trying to make his rent. Home depot does not do gift cards for more than 500...so there must be a seprate card that says store credit on it so it can be cancelled by home sepot if your check does not clear. I'm worried about the 15 days thing becuase if he check does not clear for whatever he bought and then returned home depot will not accept the store credit.
