Does anyone know why there is no "objective" section when using hotjobs to build your resume?

I have built a resume on yahoo hotjobs using one of their premade layouts. You basically just plug in your information and it automatically puts the info into the resume format you selected from examples. The examples of the layouts include the "objective" section, but there is no objective section on the actual resume built. There is no place to login your objective information on any of them. It goes straight to the experience section at the beginning of the resume.

1. They are of the belief that an objective section is not needed and that your experience will speak for itself.
2. objective is a newer thing to resumes. I never use one myself. Why should I. The objective is obvious - I want the job.
