I emailed my hotjobs resume to myself to test, and it sends it twice. Is that standard?

Plus, how can I send a HTML resume if the job prospect (outside of the hotjobs side) wants a word document? I thought I could export a hotjobs resume to Word. I'm tired of doing resumes in different formats by the way

1. Sounds like you don't get the job.
2. If you really want a job, just make your resume in all formats requested. If they ask a Word doc, have it prepared, if they ask HTML, have it prepared and so on. As a matter of fact, there aren't so many formats. There's the doc, the pdf and the HTML. How hard can that be?
