I heard the only way to get a terrific job in a big city like Dallas is use a service like Monster or HotJobs?

Is that true? Or can a person with a college degree find a job using other methods?

1. You can certainly get a job by other means, but the explaination to that statement is that using Monster and HotJobs helps your resume get to more places and helps you find all the places that are available. If you are actively seeking a job by looking through the ads in the paper, it may go slower and you may miss something that would otherwise be available to you. Post your resume on Monster and/or HotJobs and also put yourself out there and actively look on your own. Try to meet some of the people who will be hiring if you can and get your resume in the right hands. Good Luck.
2. Not true...local news paper, good source...got references ? got an education ? Try Dallas Independent School District...there's a career...not a job there...trust me iknow...been there...done that...
