What is the safest way to recieve payment from a craigslist buyer?

I'm trying to sell my laptop in craigslist. What is the best form of payment so I don't get scammed or anything.

1. Use www.paypal.com Once the payment is recieved, then you ship.
2. Try to sell locally so you can get cash and give a receipt. I've never bought anything off craigslist but when I bought off E-bay I used paypal.
3. I hope you read all their tips to avoid fraud. Just deal with local people and in cash. Period. Bank checks can be faked, money orders can be faked, you just never know. Cash only!
