Has anyone actually ever gotten a job from Hotjobs.com or any other job search site?

Do they really work?

  3. i tried hotjob without any result. I only got a bounce of spam!
  4. I got a part time job, which is what I wanted, but it didn't last...pay wasn't what they led me to believe.

  6. Yes, they really work. My dad was unemployed for a year and he was able to get a local job out of NYC. It can take a long time though. Many businesses/companies who get all the submitted resumes block them as spam, the best way for it to work is to check off as many different openings as you can, it can't hurt.
  7. Yes, it really works. I've found jobs on Monster.com (and have also used the information listed on Monster for salary negotiations!) I've also hired positions using Monster. I became frustrated with local recruiting efforts, using recruiting firms (accounting & finance) and insisted HR use Monster. I received several great resumes (lots of work going through them all!) and hired several positions. It's a great tool!
