- You can always be proactive. Determine what companies you would like to be employed by and go to their websites. Almost every company or corporation website has a link to careers or employment. Fill in their application. You can also seek 'head hunters' that specialize in the field or industry that you have interest in.

- I wouldn't discourage you from using those sources, but they probably won't land a job for you. Not saying no one has ever found a job on those sites, but they are not terribly efficient. You are going to have to network your way in to a position. I don't know what your B.S. is in, but whatever it is you need to develop contacts in that business segment and keep them active and updated - especially after you find a job. Good luck to you!
- I like the first answer. You could always go to www.craigslist.org and look for jobs on there too. I find that site to be very useful.
- Do you want to stay in retail? List the major retail companies in your area. Research each company on the internet and see how they go about hiring employees - often you can just submit an application online. Contact a specialist retail recruitment company and send through your details. You need to network and get your CV or resume out to as many places as possible. Good Luck
