Is there a site similar to monster.com or careerbuilder.com but that has Alaska jobs exclusively?

I would love to move there but would like to have a job or career waiting for me when i get there.

1. I don't know one that has Alaska exclusively but the best website for job hunting is www.indeed.com because it pulls job openings from every website/source available into one search engine. You can narrow your search to Alaska and see what you find. Good Luck!
2. I live in Fairbanks. Many, many Alaskan jobs are word of mouth. You need to get your name out and around, have others look for you too. www.anchoragehelpwanted.com and www.fairbankshelpwanted.com will lead to some areas. Just the city name and helpwanted.com after it and see what comes up. The state of Alaska has two job web sites - one for state jobs and one for all others. You should be able to search and find them........ start at the alaska.gov web site and state main page. Each military base will have it's own web site, and, so will each federal agency. And yes, there is a one place to go for federal jobs, but, wow - last time I tried it you have to be rocket scientist to figure it out. Also, the Anchorage Daily News and Fairbanks News Miner have their job classified on line. Just start searching and book marking. And a have a resume ready to send. Hope this helps.
