List Only

I just posted a new resume on yahoo hot jobs yesterday...?

I checked my account today and the stats said found in search results 0 times. Viewed by employer 1 time. How could this be if not found in search results? I can understand that it is a weekend and I won't see much action till Monday. I was just wondring how an employer came to view it without finding it in search results?

  1. Maybe it's perhaps close to the weekend. Many employers go home early on Fridays. As soon as Tuesday rolls in, check to see if it's been viewed, but my best bet is to start sending your resumes to the places you want to work in.
  2. Ok, hmmm, how can I say this? Take your resume off of there and put it on a site that will do you some good. My best suggestion is actually to figure out which company you want to work for, go to their website and post it in their career section. If you are wondering who is hiring out there, go to www.jobcentral.com. It is a state run site for all 50 states that has many more legitimate listings.
  3. Maybe that's a test run from Yahoo.
  4. I would not post my resume for just anyone to see. You will end up flooded with stupid respones for stupid jobs that no one else would take. Keep your resume hidden unless you see a specific job you are interested in, then send them a copy of your resume. You may want to consider doing the same thing on careerbuilder.com and monster.com. Hope this helps.
