Ups driver jobs for quiet type of ppl?
Is it a good job to get into Ups and become a driver or work as a sorter/handler if your quiet and don't like a whole lot of customer interactions? I don't know a lot about the job, but it seems like delivery drivers work by themselves all day and just deliever packages to the customers and tell them to write their signature and thats it.

- I would have to say that both positions at UPS, you work somewhat solitary. As a package handler, you load one-three trucks by yourself and as a driver, you work by yourself. BUT, as a driver, you have to keep a good reputation with your customers and be friendly...even if this means, stopping during your route because someone wants directions. UPS drivers pride themselves on being that friendly, helpful person they are... It's good for business. Also, I would say that as a driver, you work by yourself on your route, but you will have to work with other drivers if they or you need help. It's good to be friendly and social with other drivers for that reason...or you could be out til 9pm delivering because no one wants to help you.
