who came up with bright idea that its a good thing to have laws that encourage sending american jobs overseas?
who did, and who did they influence to make it happen? what did they think would happen to americans who used to have those jobs. Follow up: are these the same people who thought it was good to have a policy of having as many illegal aliens coming into our country? and having as many HB1 visas granted to bring in yet even more low wage workers into the USA?

- Well, since the dems are strong union supporters (generally), and the GOP supports big business, it's pretty clear that it was the GOP. ALthough CLinton supported NAFTA (I bleieve) which was a mistake.
- The economic neoliberals who are not real liberals.
- Thinning out the heard. Sink or swim. Move or get out of the way. Survival of the fittest. GW's dream nation: The haves and the have mores.......and those who service them!! This is the Neo-Con American dream!! EDIT: And I really believe this to be true! I am not being facetious. ASIDE: GHW Bush orchestrated and designed NAFTA, Clinton signed it into being and now GW is taking it further with the SPP and CAFTA and next we WILL be in a Union with Mexico and Canada and we'll be the North American Union!! Why would the Democrats and the Republicans be a part of this??? The answer to that question REALLY answers your original question!!
- This is called Free Market Capitalism in a Global Market. Ain't it wonderful?

- It was a collaborative effort between politicians of both parties. Anyone who tries to blame either party specifically is misinformed or dishonest.........
- Corporations own the politicians and media in the US. Therefore, very few laws to protect American jobs and no spotlight on corporate greed by the mainstream media. 'George W Bush is a corporation masquerading as a human being.' (Ralph Nader)
