what are the jobs that american will not do? or illagel alien just take up jobs and making it hard on us?

I heard this all the time - what are the jobs? I went to a place and they were suprise that I do not speak spanish- hell I am america usa citizen- why are you not speaking english, you come here but carry your mexican flag when you want to be cirizens. If i went to mexico I would be told to learn spanish- so why don't you speak,write english. american is a melting pot so why are you not melting in- you come over and want to change american into something else- are you going to change our name and make us all learn to speak spanish? I work in warehouse,fastfood, I am willing to work for 6.00 dollars and hour. I want to feed my family, too. if you known of a job in Pa.allentown that will hire a willing worker. when i wrote this I was upset- therefore the missspelling-

1. Don't blame the immigrants. Most of the come looking to feed their families too. There is nothing wrong with having pride in your cultural heritage either. Truth is the jobs that most immigrants take are jobs that would be unfilled otherwise. They are willing to take the dirtiest, lowest paying and often degrading work that most people would absolutely refuse. I think that no matter your race or heritage the important thing is that you are a hard worker. Sorry that you have to work in fast food, what kinda degree did you get in college? I've heard that physics majors are having some trouble finding work. Hope you find yourself a Career.

3. I do not think there are jobs a US citizen is unwilling to do. I live in a town where there are four poultry processing plants within 30 miles of my home. Take into consideration. If an individual is here illegally, that person has no social security number. If this is so, it is not possible for income presented legally. A W4 must be filled out when anyone is hired for a job. The thing about this whole thing is a lot of the illegals are being paid under the table. No records are being kept; no taxes are being paid. This is not only infuriating, it is also illegal. These days, who is counting. Our government is outsourcing jobs left and right. Do we actually think they care about what is going on here? No. They give us an answer they think we are stupid enough to believe.

The jobs like picking produce in the mud, cleaning up at a slaugterhouse,etc. Americans won't do these jobs. There is nothing wrong with being proud of one's heritage either. Maybe you could find a better job if you were bilingual. I'm trilingual and it helped me.
5. ugh.....didn't get it. Didn't understand the question. Didn't understand the spelling. Didn't understand why you were asking why they couldn't speak english when you can't type english. If you want to make a point.....take the time to compose a question that sounds hmmmm at least 6th gradish. The question caught my eye......the rest made me say "here we go again".
6. funny how everyone forgets the ILLEGAL part of it, they should be sent back and be forced to become legal citizens oh and learn to speak freaking english every other immigrant did
7. How funny Red,you mention that they need to learn how to speak English because in my town we have a lot of the Katrina victims & they are not able to find a job because they don't speak Spanish!
8. The concept that Americans will not do the jobs is a fallacy. The reality is that Americans won't do the jobs for the substandard wages that the companies are willing to pay. The corporate donors to the politicians have planted this concept with the politicians who regurgitate it as a fact. The food service industry is one of the areas that is often pointed to as somewhere that Americans won't work. To counter this, I use the fast food chain In-and-Out Burger. They pay pretty good starting wages, around $8.00/hour. They have no trouble getting Americans to work at their establishments. In addition, their prices for food are reasonable, there is ALWAYS a line at their drive-through and the employees always seem to be happy. That pretty much shoots holes in all the standard arguments: Americans won't do it and paying a fair wage would drive the costs so high, no one could afford the product. Another fact that shows that Americans will take these jobs is the jobless rate among African-American men. It is as high as ever despite 20 years of national programs intended to improve conditions of life for them. While I am sure some do not want to work, I am also even more sure that there are many who do but need to make enough money to survive. They are being undercut by illegal aliens who will do the work for less. 20 years ago, I was in the construction field, yet another job that "Americans won't do". There were many, many Americans doing this work who were happy to be doing it. While there were probably illegal aliens doing some of the jobs, I did not encounter any of them while I was working in that field. Now, if you don't speak Spanish, you can't get a job in construction in California. Even if you do speak Spanish, you can't afford to work in this field. Americans WILL do all these job but we require a wage that allows us to survive and thrive.
