Does Monster. com have real work from home jobs or is it a scam?

How does it work? Is this a real scam free site? Do they have any work from home jobs?

  1. No the majority are all scams, if they were real than everyone would be working at home
  2. Realistically, I have yet to come across a *real* "work-at-home" job. In all reality, they don't exist. There may be some odd company that might pay a few bucks for a survey or something weird like that, but there is no real work-at-home job that will give you a full-time paycheck good enough to even get by with. People who work from home either own their own business or they sometimes do the 'telecommuting' thing with people at a company that they already physically work at.
  3. Monster charges employers to post jobs and really does not monitor the posts as long as there are no complaints. I too at one time thought they were a good, reliable source. What I found is that most legit 'work at home, virtual rep' companies no longer have to advertise anywhere because they get referrals easier. In fact when I found my 'virtual job', it was only through someone else, not any job board. I have written many blogs and am a fighter against scams to the core. The minute I post a link here in answers, someone is going to have my answer deleted as a spammer, just 'cause they don't like what I have to say most of the time. So, I would invite you to go to my profile. In the 2nd paragraph is a link to a blog I wrote about advice for working from home. If you look to the right, below my pic, you will find an option to click on more hubs from learntosucceed. You will find a hub on Is this a JOB? At the bottom of the hub, are two links to sites that list companies looking for virtual reps. Hopefully you will find something that fits for you. ~good luck ~jennifer Helping others create additional income from home through education of the system and how it works.
  4. There are companies that have legitimate affiliate programs that earn you money for advertising their products or services. Just be careful and do your research on that company. There are several legitimate opportunities at http://www.tmartindale.com
