I have heard a lot of the online jobs but how do i know if they are legal or scam?
I heard that online jobs are scams. So how can i find out if it is a legal or scam? How do they make profit without selling goods? How do they pay their workers when they are all around the world, working at home? Are they legal organisations? ? ?

- go to legal zoom.com
- I use sohojobs.org - You can email them at info@sohojobs.org providing information on the job offer or ad that you are interested in. They will email you back and let you know if its a scam or if they have received any complaints. This is a free service and you do not need to be a sohojobs member to use it. They've saved me big time! I almost signed up for a home typing offer until they told me that the company was under investigation for fraud! As for real jobs - yes they do exist. You just need t know where to find them. Here are a couple of companies that I know about that are currently hiring: www.acddirect.com/jobs does telethon drives so they hire people to answer calls. www.liveops.com does the same thing that West's DR line does, except better from what I hear. They hire pretty often. http://www.xactservices.com - I don't know a lot about them other than they are legit and take calls for different commercial and educational type stuff. www.worksol.com does a lot of incoming Customer service type stuff. They're difficult to get on with, but I hear they're worth the wait. They have hired many SOHOjobs members lately. http://www.verafast.com is another inbound type of work at home job that a lot of soho members are working for. Everyone I know really loves them. https://www.alpineaccess.com is a pretty good one, I hear. I think they only hire in certain parts of the country though so check the website. www.arise.com - they use to be called Willow. A very good friend of mine works for them and says that its well worth the expenses. (I believe that they require you to incorporate but they will help you with that if you are interested.) http://www.customloyal.com is an outbound calling company that contacts subscribers to newspapers. You might also look at www.virtualofficetemps.com - they hire virtual assistants and everyone loves them. It's project work but it is VERY hard to get accepted because there is a lot of competition for these jobs. Also look at vipdesk.com - they hire virtual travel assistants. They are hiring hundreds of home based people right now, but much like VOT, they are kinda hard to get on with. So do not be discouraged! There are real work at home jobs - I promise! I am currently working from home doing data entry and editing but before I joined up with soho - all i got was scams, scams scams. Good luck!
