Can anyone help me find a Human resource entry level position?

I have been out of school(college Degree: Business and Organizational Management with HR concentrations) now for almost a year. I have been searching and applying for HR vacancies since then. I can't find a job!! More than anything I just want to find a job that will help me break into the industry. I have used Craigslist and Indeed.com to help with my search. Please HELP.

1. Filling out applications online is not enough. The important thing at this stage is Network Network Network. Join SHRM (they have great job postings online as well) or some other HR professional association and attend some local meetings. Go to business conferences, chamber of commerce meetings, young professionals events, etc. If you're interested in a particular industry (healthcare, for example, is hot), contact the HR rep of a company in that industry and ask for an informational interview. Perhaps the SHRM certification might help you stand out as well. Did you do any HR internships in college? If not, your lack of related work experience will hurt you. Perhaps you can volunteer your services somewhere, like offering to manage a volunteer program for a non-profit group. Good luck!
