USPS Employment California?

I worked for the USPS before as a Data conversion operator and I took an exam for a cashier/customer service about a year and a half ago and I got a paper in the mail for an interview on the 30th for the position. If i get the job, how long does it usually take for them to notify and hire some one?

  1. usually employers keep you application for about 6months to a year on file if they wont to interview you they normally know in the first 3minutes if they wont to hire you my advice to you would know the job position when you go to the interview and stay professional and talk about the job during the interview questions smile give good eye contact and no perfum and try not to talk much about youself only about the job and maybe they will tell you if they wont you then stay confident
  2. When it comes to the Post Office, a while. It isn't uncommon to wait over a year for a job with the USPS.
  3. cashier/customer service?? huh? do you mean clerk (window or distribution)?
  4. Maybe you mean the Distribution Clerk Battery? Nobody is hired to be an SSA(window clerk) except in smaller POs where you will be a Part Time Flexible for years. It will take a few months before the results of the interviews are compiled. Even after that, they may still decide not to hire anybody at all.
