I applied 4 months ago for a casual position with the USPS... I have a tempory job that lasts another 4 months

how do they look upon your application for future reference if you turn down the job this time. If they would have called me back 3 weeks ago I could have done it... but I waited nearly 4 months to hear something from them. I would hate to turn this oppurtunity down for casual employment and then never be able to apply for it again since they'll put a big black X next to my name.

  1. They will be fine with it. For seasonal or temporary employees, employers understand that you have better opportunities (mainly, full time jobs). When you decline the position, tell them why and let them know that you would like to be considered for future temporary work. Also, make sure that you leave in good standing.
