I am working as an Asst. Manager in a leading Newspaper Group in india. The employment is a two years contract b/w me and the company. Either of them has to give a 3mths notice in terms of leaving the job. But due to some internal politics my manager is pressurising me to resign or transfer to another city giving reason of underperformance which is incorrect. They are pressurising me to resign with mutual understanding so that neither the company or me has to give any notice or payment in lieu of. I cant take the transfer due to my mother's ill health. Is is advisable to stick to the contract and demand 3months prior notice by the company ? Wht should i do in this situation ?? Kindly guide me.....
