Which study is best Nursing or Information technology in AUSTRALIA ?

I want to study so that i can make my career sucessfull but i do not know what to study ? So i want to know which is best nursing or the IT .At present i am in australia .so i want guide line according to australia employment

1. My wife is a nurse. It is a tough job and the pay is not great. However, there is a shortage of nurses so you will easily get a job. IT work can be very mentally challenging but it is well paid. Which job would you prefer to do?
