Public Comments
- One...No they are terrible...they are actually being sued for like 180 millions dollars for misstreating their employee's
- Are you a white man who can work any hour of the day on any day of the week and switch shifts without any problems? Can you get along without health insurance?
- I worked for Walmart here in Michigan and I had to go through 3 interviews before I was finally hired. Definately not a great place to work.
- I have worked with Walmart before for 3 1/2 years. they only gave me one interview. They treated me okay, but the pay is not worth they hard work that they want you to do.
- You go through a total of 3 interviews altogether in order to get whatever job you're applying for, which is really time consuming and easy. It depends on where the Wal-mart is located as to whether or not it's a good place for employment. If you live in a college town or small town, it might be ok. Wal-mart is known for having a lot of cases against them for mistreating their employees. I say for you to make a decision on whether or not you want to work there, observe the environment during the weekend at a busy hour and ask yourself if you could still picture yourself being there. Good luck.
- I work at wal-mart grocery store or the proper name neighborhood market. Im on military leave in arizona right now. So i can help you with this. Wal-Mart is a good company to work for. The thing is it depends on what you do while working there. The easiest way to get a job there is through stocking. Telling them you will work any hour. Then once you in I suggest trying to move to an easier stress free spot example: photo or pharmacy. Those 2 spots can be ruff at times but your time off and hours are better and so is pay. There benefits are really backwards. You get like the best discounts on like movie theaters car rentals air line tickets or anything else. Even as an employee you can buy stock and have them take a certain amount out your check to save up. The only thing thats weird about these benefits is they give you the suckiest health benefits. My girl works there also and she can only go to the doctor like twice a year cause wal-mart want do anything for you. I know crazy right. They give you all this good stuff but fail you when you get sick. Now wal-mart doesnt treat you bad its whoever thats supervising you that treats you bad. Thats any job though. They usually give you about 2 interviews. The first one is basic you know about your work history while you wanna work there. Stuff like that. Now if you get the second one you are hired. Because in the second one they make you feel out a lot of paper work that sucks ass. They are very fair to your personal life. They are a very flexible store. If you see yourself working a lot thats because they are a high demanding place. If wal-mart misses 2 days without being open they will lose tons of money. So you will work a lot because they always have trucks coming in. If you want some money and not worried about being fired all you have to do is show up and work. Then its a good job. Just stay busy and time goes by quick. You want any other info email me.
