Trying to get a job at walmart and im not sure what these questions mean?

Have you received a conditional certification from the state employment security agency (SESA) or a participating local agency for the work opportunity credit? Are you a member of a family that has received assistance from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) for any 9 months during the last 18 months?

  1. these are questions pertaining to welfare. they are basically asking if you or your family has received cash or food stamps in the last 18 mo. if you haven't been on welfare these questions don't apply to you
  2. lmfao. if you dont no what it emans the answers obviously NO!LOSER
  3. typically if u dont know what the quesitons means.. the answer is usually *no*
  4. They want to know if you are on welfare.
  5. it means your a winner!
  6. Have you received welfare from the government for more than 9 months in the last year and half?
  7. thats just mean if you have received welfare from you county
  8. use a thesaurus
  9. You would probably 'know' if it pertained to you.
  10. Ok my brother wanted the same thing just call them the managers number is 6061190
  11. They are trying to figure out if you are poor enough to work for Wal-Mart.
  12. Since most WalMart employees get some sort of state welfare due to their ridiculously low wages, they just want to know in advance whether you are on the system already.
  13. If you don't know what they mean, then they probably don't apply to you. I'm sure you'd know about these if you were a part of them, so answer no.
  14. its welfare thing they r trying to find u a job probab. u were unemployed and getting money from them ask them
  15. they basically ask you if you have received any government assistance (in form of social security benefits, food stamps, employment reference) in the past. If not select "No" to these questions
  16. they want to know if you have been on welfare in the past 9 mo.'s or and of your family. If you have tell the truth, they want you to pay them back.
  17. 1) have you used an employment agency to help you get a job and if you received an certificate from them....if your a teen, most likely you haven't use these employment agency yet so just say no 2.) saying if your family (usually your parents) are receiving kind of like "Food stamp" or "walfare" if not say no/.
  18. TANF is what people who apply at DSHS..Department of Social and Health servises recieve. It provides them with food stamps and cash benifits if they apply and are excepted. I am assuming that since you dont know what it is...your answer would be no.
  19. I do not know what the first means, but I know the second one. It is asking if you are receiving any "Extra" support form the government or any other corporation. I think you should ask them about these. The first one sounds really serious. Maybe you have to have some experience or certification form your state to work in different places.
  20. Most of them they give you 18 hours a week for minimum and practically they kill you for it. Is not even worth it for gas and you got to many bosses.
  21. Lol...try working at target,,they pay a little more. bur basically they are asking if you or your familiy(if you are undger 18) have recievied help from the goverment like unemployment (SESA) and medical help ( TANF) . Hope it helps
  22. first question is basically are you allowed to work or not if your 16 then tht is automatic yes regardless if you have paperwork from the county or state. second question is asking if your family is on any kind of goverment assitence, like welfare type stuff.
  23. 1st Q asked if you are authorized to work 2nd Q asked if you are on wellfare.
  24. They are asking are you on welfare is all
  25. The government runs all kinds of job training programs, and Wal-mart most likely loves to suck up as much of those funds as possible. The names of each program can differ between county, so that is most likely talking about. You could check by talking to someone in local state unemployment agency or running search on your state web site for TANF. Wal-mart likes employers who know how to work the system and get their health care from the state, so it could also be talking about that. That will help for entry level position. You could call local public assistance agency to learn qualifications. Check blue pages of phonebook for number to call.
