Is there something wrong with my resume if I do not get responses from Career Builder?

1. There may be nothing wrong with your resume. I too have used Career Builder to get the job (the best one ever!) I now have, but there has to be an opportunity for an opening in the job you are looking for. Usually companies have a new budget when the new year begins, which allows them to hire new people when needed. Last January I had several companies contact me and I actually chose the job I really wanted. Companies do take time to look over the different applicants and in my case even tested me for my knowledge of the job I applied for, before I even got to round two, the interview. It certanly took too long for my likes, especially since I only had a week left on my unemployment benefits. Try other on-line sources, like Monster or look in your local newspaper for opportunities too. Keep plugging and someone will give you the chance you deserve. Good Luck!
