Career Builder/Monster.Com?

Has anyone here ever landed a good job using Career Builder of Monster.com? I am curious to use these sites but I have never actually heard of anyone actually getting a good job from either. Or they seem to just apply for months and months and nothing ever comes of it. I would be curious to know if anyone ever actually had a good story to tell about either.

1. My only good experience with it has been when a temp agency saw my resume posted, asked me to come in for an interview, and then sent me on an interview for a direct hire position that I was promoted to HR Manager within 3 months.
2. They are good sites and I did land a job. There is no good story from my side, you just apply the job that fits your criteria like salary, benefits, drive etc. I would say look at Dice.com and yahoo hot jobs web site too. I applied for technology companies.
