Need Critique/Advice on a cover letter for a job on career builder?

This is a cover letter to go with my resume on career builder... so it isn't for just one specific employer it is for many. I have never made a cover letter on there before and i figure it is worth a shot because i am in need of a new job ASAP and i am doing everything in my power to get the employers to check out my resume....so please any advice or critique would be awesome... as i said i have never made one before or even looked into it... please dont pick at the format or layout of the cover letter.... career builder will mess it all up anyways... **** Clinton Des Moines, IA 50313 515/###-#### Dear Potential Employer, I am A Motivated, Dedicated, Team playing employee that I believe you are looking for to fill the employment position you have open with your company. I have strong Customer Service skills, as well as secretarial and assistant experience. I am educated and experienced with computers, Multi - lined telephones, and basic office/secretarial requirements that you desire. Having experience in the feilds listed above; I also have deep passion and knowledge with animals. As well as a large background in childcare and nannying; which I believe proves that I am a very patient hardworking individual who doesn't break under pressure and can handle a variety of situations.   1. It is impossible to have a 'one size fits all' cover letter. Think about this from the employer's point of view. They have hundreds if not thousands of these things to plough through, probably in a very short space of time. Your cover letter must push all the buttons immediately so that the employer can see in seconds you look right for the vacancy he has to fill, and he must see you. I think the letter you have presented does more harm than good. I would put you on the rejects pile, whatever the vacancy. To be brutal, your grammar is poor, your use of capital letters is all wrong, and the letter does not tell me what you are or what you have to give.
