  1. Yep. It's great.
  2. I dont want to rain on your parade, but becoming a RN through one of these schools is not the way to go. They are shortcut schools that will not prepare you. Yes maybe the course will be easier, but they will not prepare you at all to take the boards to be able to pass and to be sufficient while on the job. It will cost thousands of dollars. Yes it might be quicker than going to a 4 or a 2 year school, but its not worth trying to save 6 months. You need to know that these type of schools are businesses were they need to make a profit. They will rush the class at maximum capacity and will rush you through the course to be able to get to the next group of customers. If you go to a public school they do not make profits. One time during clinicals at a hospital, one of the respiratory therapists was shaking his head and laughed when he saw some students from Concorde career college. He said they they are fake nurses. Going to Western might be good if your doing medical assisting or trying to become a EMT;even then its shaky. Do yourself a huge favor and go to a community college or a 4 year school. There isnt any short cuts in the medical field.
