nursing program?
When looking at CA approved nursing programs, under Western Career College it says "Admits LVN's only". What does that mean? so that means, I have to complete the vocational nursing program first, right?

- Live in nurses only.
- licensed vocational nurses...that is what the LPNs are called in Canada I believe.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse is the same as an LPN
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (sometimes LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse)
- Yes, if they only admit LVNs, you need to be a LVN / LPN (same thing, different name depending on what state you live in). IMO, it's probably a waste of time getting your LVN if you know you want to be an RN. Find another school that offers a 2 year RN program without requiring the LVN first.
