I want to go to college... have NO IDEA how. I live in Western New York... suggestions?

Ok, I feel like I'm wasting time. I've always wanted to get started with college and such, but... feel like I missed something, lol. It seems to be general knowlege, but I have NO IDEA how to enroll in a college, or even what to go for. I don't know what words like "bacholer's," "undergraduate," or "associate's" mean. What is a course? What is a major? What is a minor!? I have no idea. I feel like I'm stupid, lol. But really - how does everyone else AUTOMATICALLY know these things? Possible career choices? In a perfect world, I'd like to get into entertainment ( www.youtube.com/viiviiixxtactic ). I've also considered cooking/baking. I've considered, after schooling and such, opening my own bakery/restaurant...? I graduated high school in 05, GED. I just missed too much school, but am actually really smart (math, writing, etc). Oh, and PS - there's no way I'm getting financial aid. My parents make too much, but they're not going to help pay. So...? What should I do!?

2. Is there a local 2-year college where you live? Just go to their website and apply if you are serious about joining. It wont kil you to take classes.
