I have an MBA (Mktg) and interested in making a career change to Marketing; how should I focus my job search?

I have many years of experience in insurance (claims, personal injury negotiation); my skill set is totally transferable to the marketing field. Trying to determine what types of positions someone in my situation (a person with many years of business experience with a educational background in marketing) should target.

1. Marketing in in the toilet now......and won't recover for years......businesses always dump the marketing side for survival........sorry............its a sure way to starve.........
