Is there any place that sets up people with immediate need 4 low income housing with owners of empty property?

I have 4 young kids, house was forclosed but still waiting to hear about trustee sale. I am looking for a temporary place to move to. I can't afford to rent an apt or house. I would like to know if anyone has a place maybe vacant property that would benefit occupancy and cash while on the market or such. I wouldn't mind even if it was only for anywhere from 2-3 months up to 6-8 months. I live in the Antelope Valley in California. Any and all help would be apprieciated.

1. you could always call a real estate person and ask them. that might be a good state.. you also should call your state housing authority to find housing that is based on your income. you can get the number from the what ever place people apply for food stamps..
2. No one is going to benefit bringing 4 young kids into a home for sale. It will sell better vacent. You can apply for section 8, it is a county office, Housing Authority. The waiting list is a couple of years, but if you end up at a homeless shelter they will move you up since you have 4 young children. Rent will be 1/3 of your income and child support, the tax payers pick up the rest.
