I owe metropoiltan housing authority a balance I am on their section-8 program can I move to another landlord?

I owe metropolitan housing authority a balance. I am on a payment plan to pay back the money. I have two payments left. My section-8 landord's contract was terminated because the landlord refuse to do repairs. I received a notice from the housing inspector to find another place. Metropolitan says I can not move untill the balance is paid. Can I still move ?

1. You can move, but you won't get any section 8 assistance until your balance is paid off. So, if you do, make sure the new landlord is willing to oblige section 8.
