What animails do you have to pay a deposit for in Housing Authority?
Public Comments
- Depends on what the contract says
- All of em' No?
- It depends on the contract and what it says you can have in your apartment or house. Mostly it is just cats, dogs or birds, but there may be other pets involved. Read carefully your contract and read all the fine print too. If your contract isn't clear about what pets you have to pay a deposit, ask your new landlord or landlady about it. They should be able to assist you in this manner. Good luck!
- mostly the ones that can poop or pee on the floor or dig up the carpet or yard.ones also that might stink the place up!or tear something up in general!you might know that your pet wouldnt do these things but i am sure that there is some lazy people out there that dont care what their pets do so that is why they make you do it,because they dont know what goes on at every bodies houses and i am sure they have had some bad p[eople as wellas good!
- About your lease requirements...all of the other suggestions apply. However, if the reason you have a pet is to help with a disability, you shouldn't need to supply a deposit. Even the housing authority will back you up if you have a letter from your psychiatrist of your GP of the need of a pet for your general health. Whatever happens good luck to you.
