money in a cd - still applicable for affordable housing?

I have a good deal of money in a cd right now but really need to rent affordable housing (ie: based on income, sec. 8, hud, ect.) will the money in my cd show up on my credit report and disqualify me from getting any affordable housing? Thanks.

1. It shouldn't. No asset values show up on a credit report...only liabilities. You should be fine as it is based only on income levels.
