How can I find affordable housing based on income without good credit but willing to rebuild?

1. Start rebuilding first before you buy. It's not hard.....request your reports and go over them carefully, dispute what's wrong, and start paying your bills on time. If you can't do that, then your not ready to buy. No one will sell you something based on your income that I know of. You have to prove to them that if they make you a loan, you will pay it back. Your credit report is all they have to go on. Good credit is one of the most valuable assets you can have. Once you show about 6 months of paying on time, paying down debt, you will be in a much better position to get a loan.
