As no one noticed that the raise in dog attacks follows the raise of street gangs dealing drugs?
The two go hand in hand. In the 30's, 40's and 50's pit bulls were the most popular family dog in this country. The goverment used the pit bull as the symbol of courge and national pride in WW1. They were used as nanny dogs to protect the childern of fram families and the first army dog was a pit mix nammed Stubby. He was given severl medals, the rank of SRG. and honored in the white house. Do something about the human element in all of these attacks and they will stop and the pit bull can again be the bright star of the dog world they were at one time.

- Pit bulls are actually one of the sweetest dogs. I have noiticed this too. People are giving the dogs bad raps. Training them to fight. It needs to stop.
- it is really how u train a dog when it is a pup, no matter what kind of dog it is.
- i noticed
- it's a shame because they COULD be such good dogs but people often don't want to take the risk. if you go into a rescue it's allll pitbulls and dogs to that nature it's really sad because you know they don't get adopted=[
- i think pit bulls are nice.i even had one when i was 6.it's how you train it, not how it's born
- Sadly you are correct--the thugs teach their dogs to be thugs also!! It's not the dogs fault--but they eventually pay the price for it! Gangs are big in the dog fighting business--they should have the dogs turned loose on them and see what it feels like getting torn up!! They also give the good dogs bad reps --very unfair!
