How come no one ever talks about mexicos civil drug war?

Casualties and losses Over 3,220 killed many more wounded this kind of thing shouldn’t go silent. WTF!? i mean, no one ever told me about this, just like no one ever says anything about anything in africa, or the other wars past in central and south america. i have heard the russians have sent special forces in to retake a city that the drug cartels have captured. WTF!? this is right across the freaken border with america, and half the country is clueless!!! um, i kinda think people need to know about this, especially when casualties are this high, and its only a few miles away for allot of people in the US. this is infuriating that our stupid ass media doesnt say shit about it! stupid as GA news doesnt even give the daily death toll in ATL anymore. you can only find out how many people got killed by if you get the local news in atlanta. usually about 1-3 people get killed a day, and now they stopped telling people about it, because they dont want to stop tourism, these IDIOTS! Makes me so fu*king mad!!!! They don’t even say the death toll in Iraq any more, like when a car bomb kills someone, they do on CNN but not the news down here anymore, they used to tell you this, but now they are talking all sweet like nothing is going on! WTF!? I mean I've noticed allot, I mean ALLOT of people moving down here, and then they start to talk less and less about the killings! Stupid mother fu*kers! They have the nerve to tell us that Cuba lets their people buy cell phones, SO FU*KING WHAT! I don’t give a damn about that! Wooo hoo, good for them. Death is 100000000000000 times more important to talk about than that sh*t! especially when its your neighboring country! I still don’t exactly know to what sides these deaths are from, they mixed the drug dealers deaths right along in with the soldiers and polices deaths, I would at least like to know who is loosing what compared to the other side. Damn! I hate the News, I heard something about a drug war on CNN, but I didn’t know it was that bad, its basically a civil war, when people overthrow cities from government control, that's about a civil war, not just a drug war. Drug wars are usually police raiding houses to help stop drugs, not when you start talking about thousands of deaths and when the army gets involved! That's a civil war! In my book, or they should add the title very very bloody drug war. LA, yeah, thats another example!

6. You are right, the media is tailored. But that won't change. It is for profit business. However, if one wishes to be more informed, he or she should look for information as apposed to waiting for news to reach him or her.
