Are there any good roommate finder services?

I am looking to find an apartment, but would need a roommate in order to be able to afford it. Has anyone tried a roommate finder service and how was your experience?

1. I've used both craigslist and ihomeconnect.com. They are completely free services, I found my roommate through iHomeConnect and an apartment through craigslist. http://www.iHomeConnect.com http://www.Craigslist.com You might want to stay away from roommate finder services where you pay them money to find you a roommate, because in the end, they are going to the sites above to do the research (when you can do this yourself and save yourself a couple bucks).
