Moving to Florida?

Me and my boyfriend will be moving to FL soon. We need to find a place in Orlando which is not far from University of Central Florida, and FAMU school of law which is also in Orlando. We've done all the searches on apatment finder, apartment guide, etc. We've done all that but the apartments seem to be in dangerous areas. Our budget is $800 a month and we just want something within 15 minutes of FAMU law and no more than 30 minutes away from UCF. We dont want to have to worry about getting robbed or mugged. Just a place where we can work, live, and study. We're both non traditional student so student housing is not what we're looking for. Someone with some insight please help.

1. I suggest you call the college housing offices. They probably have lists of apartments that have reasonable prices.
