I have a mortgage but would like to rent apartment in california?

I presently am on a mortgage with my sister for our house, but now want to rent an apartment . is this possible? i am in the state of ca city of escondido

3. well you live within the county of San Diego...city of escondido...so you alrady know HOW EXPENSIVE it is....so if you can pull off both the mortgage and a rental payment plus all the other expenses that come with it...then go for it..... good luck :)
