I need to find information on how to get free money to pay my apartment rent.?

I am 45 years of age and in need to pay my rent. I hear of free government grants to pay for anything and don't have to pay the money back. I've seen nothing of this. I am in desprite need. Can anyone help me out.

1. There is no such thing, get a job and pay your rent.
2. Uh...start visiting your area fountains at night and collecting the sweet, sweet pennies within? Or, you know, get a job. Just a thought.
3. check with your county programs. I work for this management company and there are tenants who go through difficult circumstances and can't afford to pay all their rent. They will go to the county and they have funds to help people. Use it if you really need it, but don't take advantage of the program /system. Plus, i think it will only help you for no more than three times. Good luck!!!
4. Here there are government apartments that go by your income. when my friend had her baby she only had to pay $30/month once she got a job before then it was free. call the apartment listings in the yellow pages and ask which ones are goverment assisted
