A decent apartment in South Bend?

Does anyone know of any decent apartments in South Bend, IN. I will be moving up there in June and would like to find an apartment (1 bedroom) for no more than 620 a month. I have been reading some reviews and have found mostly extremely negative reviews of apartments in South Bend (which, of course, is to be partially expected, you are certainly more likely to review if you had a negative experience). I would like to avoid a really rowdy college complex because I have dealt with that for the past four years. Thanks for any suggestions.

1. Go online and look for the South Bend newspaper. You will see rentals there, Last time I was in town, it was pretty dirty, and and not a place I would like to rent. 2. Indian Lakes is good and in a great location by the mall, restaurants, and shops. Its actually in Mishawaka which is just to the east of South Bend. I lived there for a year and it was a good environment for a fair price.
