Can we get a better deal on the apartment?

I want to lease an apartment and a freind would like to lease one and at the same time and same complex. We are not using apartment locators. Is there anything we can say to the leasing office to get a better deal in this specific situation?

1. all you can do is ask if they are running any specials. There is nothing that you can really say that will give you a special dea. Just because you both want to live in the same complex doesnt mean that you can get a special deal.
