I need your help on this 1 guys! Scam or not?

Im sellin this printer on criags list and this is how the guy wants to do things. Is he tryin to scam me or is thi s ok. Im sensin something pretty fish. Btw its my first time usin this thing so dont mka efun of me if im getn ripped off big time. "Thanks for your response,the price is okay by me but i hope the item is in good condition. Secondly,you will be receiving an overdraft Bank Certified Bank check for the payment and you will send the excess of the money to my private shipping agent as for them to come for the pick up after the order is completed.So send me the Name, phone number and address where i will mail the check to. Looking forward to your urgent response. Regards."

1. This Is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you deposit the check it won't be covered and you'll be out the funds you sent to him. Don't Do It!
2. Scam. Clue is that he is asking you to pay his shipping agent. Anytime part of the deal is you sending part of the money to someone else, it's a scam.
3. SCAM! Never ever ever accept an overdraft check. The check will bounce, you'll get stuck paying the fines, and you'll lose what you're selling besides.
4. I don't think the check is certified. He gets the cash (the excess amount). You deposit the check. The bank charges you an insufficient funds deposit charge and requests you make up the check's funds. He has your banking info. He has your merchandise. Respond back if he contacts you again, you will only work for your terms: the price plus the shipping and after the check clears.
5. Yep total scam. It looks like a modification of a mailing scam, where they mail people these kinds of offers. Definitely report it.
6. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! This has gone around for months (possibly years) and has cost people thousands of dollars.
7. Don't do it. It's definitely a scam. Your intuition is correct. If something smells fishy, RUN!
8. He's using a closed account to purchase your printer. Tell him to frig off!

First of all overdraft mean overdrawn...second and then you are suppose to send the extra to another account that he has...well, if the first check is overdrawn it would be pretty hard to first of all get the money to pay for your item and then to recover the money you are suppose to send to the other bank? My recommendation....Do not do business!!!

Yup, this is a known scam and this is rampant on ebay, craig's list, etc. They always want to use an out-of-state private shipping company that you have never heard of and will give you a sob story to go with it. TOTAL SCAM. This is a way to get you to ship them the merchanise and you will never see a dime.
12. This is scam dont send this guy your address or anything, I always get an email like this when I post something to sell on craigslist.org, and they will pay more than what I want. Its SCAM keep away
