Is it a good idea to accept checks for payment on Craigslist?

I am selling some HD wallpapers and a guy is offering me a check, For craigslist is PayPal or cash the best?

1. Personally I always do cash only with Craigslist. It's the safe way to go.
2. Paypal is the Best. Accepting cheques will be risking. With all the Best.
3. Accepting a personal check is okay as along as it clears your bank account BEFORE shipment of your product to the customer, even through an email. You are reminded of the caveat: NEVER to advance or forward goods to a customer until you have received full payment of the merchandise IN ADVANCE. Good luck!
