Apartment recommendations near Disney...?

I am looking for apartments near Disney (in the Lake Buena Vista area or nearby). With so many different apartment complexes and so many negative ratings/reviews, it is hard to find the decent places out. Can anyone offer recommendations of good apartments to live in? Either personal experience or what they've heard from friends. I need either a studio or one bedroom. Thank you! I'm looking for a good apartment, gated community is optional. Cost is a consideration but, I'm looking into everything at this point. Moving in with my boyfriend, so two people in the apt. I have looked at that website but, a lot of places are not reviewed or have mainly negative comments. Sadly, my current place (Vista Way) has the best rating! It is fun but, not a good apartment when it comes down to it.

  1. Is cost an option? Are you a single person living alone? It's hard without the extra details...are you looking for gate community with pool and workout room or just basic apartment no frills? Try reading www.apartmentratings.com
  2. i am press and i dont know the price bcause i stay to make a review. but i recommend you de Blue Heron. is practically at the exit of downtown disney in vineland ave. they have a golden corral, ihop, sizzler i think, and dennys. also the I_ is about 30 seconds from it. i stay in 9th floor of 16 floor. and i get a view of disney territory from the master and in the living room you got a view of lake bryan. pretty sunsets right here.
  3. My brothers live at Mission Club--on the other side of the Premium Outlet Center on International Drive. It's a gated community that's gone half condo/half rental. They work at WDW and Sea World and find the rent to be reasonable enough. As far as I know, most complexes won't rent a studio apartment to a couple. They usually specify that they will only rent those to singles.
  4. I highly reccomend Discover Palms on South International Drive. I lived there before and loved it. The apartments I am in now, in Hunters Creek are no where near as good, nice, or as clean. Discovery Palms was an awesome place to live, and safe!
